I have received the magazines with the reviews mentioned last month, and several other issues of books which I have been updating, but there is some really great news.

I have received a package from the estate of Jack Coggins with some photos and personal papers. Some of the photos may be of value, but the most exciting find of all is three books.

These three books contain details of Jack's paintings from the early 60s until he stopped painting. They are in effect a catalogue of the vast majority of Jack Coggins paintings, and contain sufficient information to identify any painting, including year of first exhibition and sale date (if sold).

At a rough count, almost 1000 paintings are listed and I will be working hard to record all the details on a database so that I can quickly refer to any painting. Please email me if you require identification of a Jack Coggins painting and I will try to assist.

How appropriate that these items should arrive on Jack's birthday!!
