After a year of writing up this news page, I am finding that there is less news to report and almost no feedback from web site visitors. This month, according to the website stats, very few website visitors have even looked at the news page. So, unless there is a flood of complaints, this will be the last news page to appear.
I have received the latest purchase of a PM newspaper with Jack's artwork, and it is up on the PM page. There is another one coming up soon, and I will be trying hard not to miss this one.
Much to my intense annoyance, I missed out on one of the PM newspapers with Jack's art. The eBay auction finished after midnight our time - I placed a high bid thinking I was safe and went to bed. Imagine my frustration when I checked next day and found that someone had pipped me at the post. I was very fortunate that the seller was kind enough to send me an image of the two page spread which I could use on the website. I will be looking hard for another copy of this issue - July 3, 1941.
Another PM newspaper just come up, and I made sure that I got it this time!! It will be appearing soon on the PM page.
I acquired a copy of the Naval War College Review from Autumn 2002, which features Jack's painting of Mahan class destroyers on the cover. Details have been added to the Miscellaneous Magazine Page
