This feedback arrived recently - it is well worth having a look at the excellent works on the linked website.
"My grandmother, then mother, lived at the farm adjoining the Coggins place and he was an iconic figure to me as a child. Harold Eldridge, an illustrator, lived on the other side of their property, and Basil Martin, an accomplished water colorist lived adjoing their land as well. My grandmother, Mimi Diehl, and my mother, Dolly Maguire, were both painters as well and it was truly a genuine artists colony up there in the 50s, cocktail parties and all. We are a family of artists (www.maguiregallery.com) and it is a thrill to see this fabulous website. Some of us are trying to arrange going to the event in Reading later this week.
Thanks again for this tribute to Jack.
