The Institute of the Arts (1100 Belmont Avenue Wyomissing, PA 19610) is holding further exhibits and sales of Jack's work.
Currently several of his paintings are on display and for sale in the Institute’s Yocum Gallery as part of its “Art Exchange” exhibition. Read the article from the Reading Eagle here, or view a video of the exhibition here.
From November 8 – 20, 2007, a display of Works on Paper will be held. The Opening Reception will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007 5-7 pm.
I have previously mentioned the collection of Jack's original manuscripts and papers held by The University of Southern Mississippi -- de Grummond Children's Literature Collection.
I have just found the actual listing of the collection from their website here. I have added this information to the De Grummond page here.

I have found two more items with Jack's illustrations on eBay - another PM newspaper with a double page illustration from December 16, 1941, and an unidentified page from a magazine. I have reproduced the images below - I will be making certain that I get both of them.

I have been investigating an interesting label in a book in my collection. It is "The First Book of Sailing" by Marion Lineaweaver, illustrations by Jack Coggins. The book is autographed by Jack, and images of the cover, label and autograph are shown below.

As you can see, the book was "Presented to New Albany Elementary School Library in memory of Betty Sands Luter, by NAHS Class of 1943, curtesy (?) of Alma Wood Coggins"
Alma was, of course, Jack's wife, and I have been trying to find out more of the history of the label. I have been unable to find anything about Betty Sands Luter on the web - any information would be most welcome.
There are many towns in the US called New Albany. I know that Alma grew up on a farm in Bradford County, presumably the area in north-east Pennsylvania. Bradford County has a township or borough called New Albany and a New Albany Elementary School, so that fits.
I am assuming that Alma would have been in "NAHS class of 1943", as she would have turned 18 in 1943, most likely her final year at school. However, I can find no record of a NAHS (New Albany High School??) in the area - perhaps it has been renamed or closed. I am emailing the local historical society to try and get more information, but if any visitor can assist, please email me.
